Sleigh Bells Ring

After basking in 24 to 28 degree C temperatures last week here in central Arizona, I woke up on the weekend to a winter wonderland–quite an anomaly for everyone here in the Verde Valley.

A snowflake is one of God’s most fragile creations, but look what they can do when they stick together!

Snowflakes are kisses from heaven.

The Eskimos had fifty-two names for snow because it was important to them: there ought to be as many for love.
Margaret Atwood

One kind word can warm three winter months.
Japanese proverb

Advice is like snow – the softer it falls, the longer it dwells upon, and the deeper in sinks into the mind.
Samuel Taylor Coleridge

Winter is on my head, but eternal spring is in my heart.

Beautiful pictures of the snow in such an unlikely setting. I imagine it was a rare treat for the
native Arizona folk. And on the flip side, the temp in Bridgewater @ 5:30 pm was 28 today.
    The times they are achangin’…..
    Blessings on your journey,

Thanks Peg. Yes, it’s hard to deny that global warming and climate change are very real. Enjoy the warm temps while you’ve got ’em. Thanks for dropping by.

I’m with Paulette, I went for a walk over my lunch break and tonight I notice a mild sunburn on my nose. At lunch time Lunenburg was at 28 degrees, almost too hot to walk. Still that temperature at 1530, the rubber was burning from my snow tires, I’m sure. The weekend should be back to normal, snow!!! Enjoy the snow, everyone should have some each year, it’s awesome “sometimes”.
    Stay safe, Ginny

Oh, now, don’t you two go rubbin’ it in about the weather down here.:) It was actually kind of exciting having a little snow on the ground. We’re back having normal temps today and very warm for the rest of the week. The recent snow was just a little freak. But when I looked at my favorite weather site this am, Nova Scotia was warmer than all of California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, the whole west coast of North Americaand the northern half of Mexico. Go figure. Things are really changing. That would never have happened 20 years ago. Hold onto your hats, as there’s more weather weirdness to come.
      Take care

ha, and you can keep it down there. 23 degrees C. here in Bridgewater, N.S. today and NO snow come home Shanomi BTW when are you moving on from there ?
Hope everything has settled down for you since your last communique. hugs
